Our client is an 11-16 academy based in Waltham Cross. They are seeking to appoint an exceptional teacher of Business Studies to start as soon as possible.
The teacher must be committed to maintaining the high standards set within the school. You will be an excellent, enthusiastic and experienced classroom practitioner with the ability to teach across the age and ability range to KS5.
Our client also achieves GCSE results far exceeding the national average and also received an ‘Outstanding’ grade in their last Ofsted report.

Our client aims to give all students the chance to take an active role in every lesson. This is achieved through the use of high-quality active learning and teaching techniques, such as:
- A well planned curriculum, which builds students' understanding
- Collaborative tasks, where pupils work in small groups to discuss and solve problems
- Class discussions using higher-order questioning techniques
- The use of mini-whiteboards to collect and discuss answers from every student in the class
- Use of ICT to enhance learning through use of interactive whiteboards in lessons
