This school are currently looking to recruit 2x Autism Teachers to work with children and young people aged 8 - 19 with Autistic Spectrum conditions, associated complex needs and challenging behaviours.
Students are taught in group sizes of 5 or less key stage 2-5 within an autism friendly environment, using appropriate learning approaches to ensure the maximum outcomes for each individual.
This role would suit an experienced teacher from either SEN or mainstream or a Newly Qualified Teacher looking for their first rewarding post in SEN to start immediately. Ideally you will have experience or a desire to work in a SEN environment working with SEBD & SEMH children in small groups differentiating work to meet the needs of each individual child.
You will be joining an excellent team of people who work well together and are committed to working with children with Special Needs throughout a range of subjects in key stage 3 and 4. You will have a good level of support as the school uses a ratio of 1 LSA or TA for every 2-3 children, depending on the needs of the children.
