Job Description

Do you want to join an inspirational senior management team with a long standing, proven and much loved head teacher?
Are you a SENCO who can provide excellent referencing and who has a strong record of raising standards and the standards of the senior managers around you?
Do you have a passion for ensuring that all SEN children have the very best SEN support?


The new SENCO must have exemplary communication skills. You must establish positive links and outstanding relationships with all external agencies, parents, carers, governors, staff and students alike. These relationships will be aided by the Head Teacher and departing SENCO, who is retiring. There will be a month’s crossover when you will be working alongside the departing SENCO with a robust induction programme to ensure the transition is as seamless as possible.

Successful candidates will:-

  • Have excellent knowledge of the UK Curriculum
  • Be able to encourage and foster a teaching environment which is built on respect, inspiration and motivation
  • Work collaboratively and creatively with colleagues
  • Must be UK qualified and hold QTS or QTLS
