Job Description

My client is currently recruiting for a 1:1 SEN TA to work with Autism. The ideal candidate must be patient and have knowledge of working with Autism. PECS and Makaton training would be of an advantage but not compulsory.

This Hackney Primary School is a superb environment for Teaching Assistants who are beginning their career within primary teaching. Each year the Headteacher looks to take on a handful of Teaching Assistants who can commit to this primary school for at least the academic year and wish to take full advantage of the opportunity to gain valuable experience in an Ofsted Outstanding Primary School.

The school is looking for individuals who are looking to gain that much needed school based experience before beginning teacher training. As a Teaching Assistant you will be working 1:1 with students with Autism. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable SEN experience in a school setting.

Previous experience supporting young people with SEN will be an advantage to your application.

Teaching Assistant roles in this school are highly needed and are interviewing immediately for these positions.

Working as a Teaching Assistant is a great way to gain valuable school based experience before starting your career as a Teacher.

If you feel you have the desired qualities and are looking for a new challenge please apply with an up to date CV.

Do not forget TLTP’s Refer and Earn scheme. For every person you recommend that we place and meets our terms and conditions you will receive a referral bonus of £130 (subject to statutory deductions).
