Our school are currently looking for a highly experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their support team.
For this post, you must have previous experience working within a special needs or mainstream school as an SEN Teaching Assistant.
The SEN Teaching Assistant position our school are currently looking to fill, will be working one-to-one with a pupil in Early Years.
SEN Teaching Assistants generally work full time, from Monday to Friday, between the hours of 8.30am and 4.00pm. For the right candidate, a permanent opportunity is always available.
Having experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant means you are able to work with children with challenging behaviour, Autism and a number of other special needs which require the right support to be given.

While working as an SEN Teaching Assistant, the young pupils you will be working with may have a range of needs:
**SEN Teaching Assistant with experience working with ADHD**
** SEN Teaching Assistant with experience working with Downs Syndrome**
** SEN Teaching Assistant with experience working with SLD and MLD**
** SEN Teaching Assistant with experience working with Complex medical needs**
** SEN Teaching Assistant with experience working with ASD**
** SEN Teaching Assistant with experience working with EBD/Mental Health**
** SEN Teaching Assistant with experience working with Physical Disabilities**
**SEN Teaching Assistant with experience working with Epilepsy **
Candidates must have experience working with young pupils and adults. Within this role there may also be some personal care required as well as basic knowledge of using PECS and Makaton.

The observation process will involve a short interview with the school Head teacher and for all short listed candidates you will then be invited back in for a trial day in the classroom.
Parking around the area is restricted and therefore unavailable however, there are great transport links via both the Overground and Northern line across TFL Zones 1&2.
