Location – Croydon, London

I am currently looking for an experienced Early Years SEN Teacher to work in an SEN Complex Needs school in Croydon. This will be a full time permanent position starting in September.

The Person – Early Years SEN Teacher
Highly motivated, creative and enthusiastic teacher to join our dynamic Early Years team. This is for a class of 8 pupils from R to Y2 with severe and moderate learning difficulties and additional complex physical and medical needs. You will be supported by a team of experienced teaching assistants to deliver highly personalised teaching and learning, therapy programmes and personal care.

You will -

  • Be an outstanding and creative practitioner
  • Have experience of complex needs and/or early primary
  • Be able to work as a member of a large inter-disciplinary team alongside medical and therapy staff

The School 
The school is a forward thinking and innovative all age special school for children with physical disabilities, complex medical needs and a wide range of learning difficulties, profound, severe and moderate. 
This school is a Croydon Local Authority Maintained Community School for 100 pupils aged 4-16 with physical disabilities, complex medical needs, complex speech and language difficulties and associated learning difficulties, moderate(MLD), severe(SLD) and profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD). There is a Further Education Unit for pupils with PMLD aged 16-19.  All our pupils have, or are transferring to, an Education, Health and Care Plan.
