KS4 & KS3 SCIENCE TEACHER – Complex Medical Needs PRU
Are you a confident Science teacher?
Are you passionate about Secondary Teaching at Key Stage 3 & 4?
Do you have strong behaviour management within a challenging environment?
The Role – Science Teacher
I am working very closely with a Secondary school based in Carshalton, to find a confident motivated SEN Science Teacher to cover KS3 & KS4 for the Summer Term and potentially ongoing through September.
The ideal Science Teacher will have QTS, will be passionate and have the ability to keep their students consistently motivated and engaged in lessons.
This role will also consist of some 1:1 tuition work some afternoons as well.
Also, it is essential that the Science Teacher has a thorough understanding of the National Curriculum, as well as an excellent understanding of effective behaviour management and the ability to put these strategies into practice.
The School - Complex Medical Needs PRU
The school provides education for school age pupils (5-16yrs) who have medical needs which prevents their attendance in mainstream school. Pupils who are unable to attend school for medical reasons can be referred, by their school, for tuition. Pupils remain dual registered with their school with the aim to re-integrate back into mainstream as soon as possible. The school works closely with schools to ensure continuity of education.
Their incredibly skilled Secondary Teachers and support staff are dedicated to very high standards and committed to enable all children to reach their full potential.
This Science Teacher position will be joining an upbeat team within the school.
