TLTP Education are working with several Secondary Schools in the London Borough of Redbridge who are looking for enthusiastic and talented Maths Teachers to join them on a full-time permanent basis.

A number of Maths Teacher roles are available, some starting immediately and from September 2019.

Redbridge is in a fantastic location; only 20 minutes from Stratford and easily accessed via the Central line or over ground via the national rail as well as plenty of bus routes.

Known for its greenery and landscape, Redbridge boasts an array of parks and nature reserves to unwind and relax in. Close to the area is Westfield Stratford, the O2 and the Olympic Stadium – providing you plenty of things to do in your spare time.

These posts require career-minded maths teachers who can show their experience required to make an immediate impact. You must also have experience in the delivery of Maths at KS3 and KS4 to join and be able to display a talent for motivating pupils and helping them to succeed.

Applications are equally encouraged from both experienced maths teachers and newly qualified maths teachers (NQT).

The schools offer a wide array of internal CPD which is on offer to all. Many of the senior leaders within the school have grown naturally into their positions through continuous support and guidance. These promotions are on offer to all teachers that can shows the will and drive to push students to achieve their best.

To be considered as a Maths Teacher, you must have:

  • A PGCE or QTS (or equivalent) in Maths
  • Fully understand the UK National Curriculum and be confident in delivering this
  • Previous UK experience in the delivery of Maths
  • Excellent literacy and numeracy
  • Effective classroom management strategies
  • As a secondary maths teacher, you must engage regularly with staff, pupils and manage any student conduct in the classroom
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their full potential
  • Must hold a valid DBS and the right to work in the UK. For anyone who does not have a DBS a new disclosure will be required which we can help with
