Darryl is a true entrepreneur having started London Teaching Pool Ltd in 2006 and is still the owner and Managing Director today. He has a passion for Education and a desire to help make a difference in the industry. Prior to TLTP, Darryl worked for Amstrad Plc for 10 years, holding various Management positions and under the guidance of a commercially savvy figure as Lord Sugar, it gave him the confidence to begin his own ventures.

He is proud of his business and team which continues to flourish and, in a recent DfE audit, TLTP achieved 100% to retain its coveted REC Audited Award, the gold standard in safeguarding.

Darryl is probably the biggest West Ham United fan, he never misses a match and has a room full of memorabilia. Equally, family and friends are very important to him, he always makes time for everyone and is known for spoiling them.


When I was little I wanted to be...
...a policeman or play football for West Ham United.

My worst ever job was...
...working in my father's business in the middle of Winter filling fuel in cars. It was a very, very cold Winter!

In my spare time you can find me...
...watching my favourite football team West Ham United play or thinking about the next gadget to buy. Family and friends are very important to me, I enjoy spending time with them and spoiling them.

Scott has over 10 years experience in Education Recruitment and is one of the Director's at London Teaching Pool. He has built his team up from the ground, employing only the best and talented Recruitment Consultants and training them to reach their full potential. His passion and dedication gives him a unique edge in building long term relationships and a strong network of clients.

Scott has an interest in fashion and run's his own online business buying and selling clothes. Most of his family live in Florida so he spends most of his holidays out there.


When I was little I wanted to be...
...footballer, tennis player and golfer but all these dreams crashed and burned as I got into my teens and reality kicked in that I couldn't manage being all 3!

My worst ever job was...
...a leaflet dropper in the Winter, it was a very cold and wet Winter!

In my spare time you can find me...
...in the gym, watching footy and formula 1 racing. I also enjoy travelling and fine dining.

Lisa is the one of the Director's at London Teaching Pool and has a wealth of recruitment knowledge and experience having worked in the industry for over 20 years. Her passion and dedication for the drove her to develop the team from the ground up.

Having started her career at the Bank of England and then working for Insurance companies, Lisa has always thrived in a fast paced and busy environment. Her direction and vision has enabled the company to grow and double in size.

Outside of the office Lisa enjoys travelling, spending time with her family and has also been known to be a shopaholic!


When I was little I wanted to be...
...a Princess. I think I have achieved that!

My worst ever job was...
...a sales assistant in a shoe store during the summer, for obvious reasons it was not a good experience.

In my spare time you can find me...
...shopping until I drop! I'm known as a shopaholic that loves a bargain.

Paul has a wealth of experience in the accountancy field. As the Finance Director of London Teaching Pool he is responsible for the day to day running of the Finance team and to assist fellow Directors with all aspects of running the business.

He was previously an Office Manager of an accountancy firm which he helped to build from scratch.

In his spare time Paul enjoys gardening, playing pool and spending time with family and friends.


When I was little I wanted to be...
...too long ago to remember.

My worst ever job was...
...only ever had one other job which I helped build so can't say I've ever had a worst job.

In my spare time you can find me...
...relaxing at home and enjoying my garden in the Summer months.

Annette has been with London Teaching Pool since the company fist started in 2006, all thanks to being the wife of the boss. However she is boss when it comes to making sure TLTP are paid on time and chasing outstanding debts.

Annette's also a qualified beauty therapist and a mum to 3 children who all love to be pampered be her.


When I was little I wanted to be...
...an Archaeologist, however soon disliked digging in dirt and instead became a beauty therapist.

My worst ever job was...
...having to model clothes at a fashion store called Ibiza in Bond Street station. Only problem was the clothes were leather & suede and didn't leave much to the imagination!

In my spare time you can find me...
...shopping, cooking and spending time with my family.

For the last 4 years Karl has managed the Compliance department. He plays an instrumental part in ensuring London Teaching Pool are compliant and up to date in all activities.

Prior to joining TLTP, Karl served in the army and then as a security guard. He has an obsession with the Hulk and has a collection of them proudly displayed across his desk.


When I was little I wanted to be...
...the Incredible Hulk but unfortunately I was not the correct colour, so I opted for the army.

My worst ever job was...
...being a Security Guard.

Heena has a real passion for Marketing and loves all things from website strategy and development, advertising, NPD, product marketing to producing publications. After spending over 10 years in the Retail industry working in commercial environments she decided on a change, this is when she discovered the world of Recruitment Marketing.

Having joined London Teaching Pool Ltd in January 2016, Heena has already under taken several high profile big projects including the overhaul of the TLTP website and social media platforms with lots more exciting activities lined up.


When I was little I wanted to be...
...a Journalist. However, the thought was short lived when a friend asked 'If there was a breaking new story at 4am and it's cold, raining and windy - would I get out of bed for it? My answer was 'No' and that was the end of that. I loved my sleep too much!

My worst ever job was...
...working as a Telemarketer in a call centre for a supplier of collectable coins and stamps...yawn!

In my spare time you can find me...
Leading a busy life I don't normally have much spare time, but when I do I enjoy cooking, shopping, spending as much time as I can with my daughter and catching up with friends and family.

Lara joined London Teaching Pool as the SEN Team Leader in September 2014 and works with specialist SEN schools recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants and support staff. She is an expert in her field, over 6 years of experience in SEN recruitment including becoming a qualified TEFL teacher and working in schools in Thailand; she has first-hand industry experience and knowledge.

Lara is multi-talented and enjoys trying out different things. Prior to recruitment she's worked as a lifeguard, performed in the West End and has even appeared on TV shows.


When I was little I wanted to be...
...a Princess and a vet. However after watching animal hospital as a child I soon distanced myself from the vet idea. I think I will stay a Princess!

My worst ever job was...
...working in a jewellery shop in Greece where I had to clean every single item every day. I did get a nice necklace as a leaving present.

In my spare time you can find me...
...experimenting in the kitchen, watching films and shopping until I drop!

Helene started her career in the Recruitment industry as a Secretary, she soon discovered her natural people skills and empathetic style could really help make a difference so she gave consulting a go. Needless to say, she's never changed back!

She joined London Teaching Pool in May 2009 to start up the Primary division and now manages a team of 10 Recruitment Consultants. Her open and honest approach has allowed her to find and place some of the best teachers into Primary schools. She has built a strong network of loyal clients and candidates around her growing team.


When I was little I wanted to be...
...many different things, none of them were in recruitment where I ended up.

My worst ever job was...
...working as a Waitress when I was in sixth form, I lasted 2 days!

Stephen joined TLTP at the start of 2017 as our Senior Recruitment Consultant for the Primary Education team. He brings with him 3 years of recruitment experience and knowledge, a valuable asset which has allowed him to build healthy relationships with schools and teachers.

Stephen has a degree in Biological Science but always had a passion for resourcing and employment. After a successful stint within a B2C direct marketing company he was quickly offered a role in recruitment and has never looked back since.


When I was little I wanted to be...
...a Scientist. Watching too much of the Discovery Channel and Blue Planet.

My worst ever job was...
...working in a toyshop as part of work experience. All I can say is never again!

In my spare time you can find me...
…dining out at fancy restaurants trying out new and exciting cuisines. Then I will work it all off at the gym. I also enjoy learning new languages.

After graduating with a degree in Psychology and Education, Gabrielle gained first-hand experience working as a teacher before joining the recruitment industry. She joined London Teaching Pool in November 2015 and is responsible for placing staff into Primary schools. Her knowledge and experience of working in schools has enabled her to provide a bespoke service, building long term relationships with education establishments.

Gabi is a keen traveller and whilst out in Cambodia undertook voluntary work in an orphanage as a Teacher for 2 months.


When I was little I wanted to be...
...a mermaid. All about sun, sea and sand. Unfortunately my sea-sickness prevented this from happening.

My worst ever job was...
...I did apply for Burger King once, they rejected me. That would have been a contender.

In my spare time you can find me...
...eating, I love food! I also love travelling to see the world, spending time with my friends and family and of course shopping!

She still loves fashion and is known to go some very large shopping sprees!

...a professional show-jumper. Since I was little I've owned horses and competed weekly until the end of secondary school.

...I haven't had one!

...older, I soon realised this was not what I expected and wanted to be young again.

...working in a toy shop. I am a big kid at heart and would often get into trouble for playing with the toys.

She has great people skills and having previously worked at Queens Hospital as a Cancer Co-Coordinator and a Beauty Advisor for Benefit cosmetics she is a natural with the public.

Being a mum of two she decided on a career break to look after her children. As if that wasn't enough to keep her busy, she followed her passion for food and trained to become a professional Chef. Needless to say dinner time is always full of many varieties!

...a Weather girl. Always wanted to be on TV and in the spotlight.

My worst ever job was...
...a barmaid in a pub. Having to deal with people who had one too many was not very nice. Never again!

In my spare you can find me...
...entertaining friends and family with my culinary cooking skills. I enjoy travelling to exotic places, I have a love affair with Dubai and Barbados!

Debbie began working at London Teaching Pool as a Resourcer supporting all the Recruitment Consultants. She carried out telephone and face to face interviews, manages the database, arranges client visits, and registers candidates plus lots more.

She became so successful in her role she is now a Trainee Recruitment Consultant focusing on Secondary schools.

She has a 1 year old daughter and is also a professional hairdresser and continues this outside of her time at TLTP.

...a Pop Star. My dreams were shattered when my Music teacher told me I could not sing!

...a Bar Maid in a pub. It was never fun getting beer in your hair.

...working in the film or animation industry as I was always quite creative.

...working night shifts in a retail store, especially the few 14 hour shifts I had to do now and again. My body clock was a mess!

...an Administration Assistant filing and photocopying paper. I was not pleased with the amount of paper cuts I kept getting!

Phillip is our newest member in the Compliance team. He has always been keen to get into Recruitment as he enjoys the buzz of a busy sales floor.

At University he studied Animation and his creativity led him to win two national enterprise competitions - Pants to Poverty and the Edge Challenge. These proved to be mentally challenging like no other.


When I was little I wanted to be...
...a penguin, however I realised they cannot play video games so I decided to try life as a human being instead, it works for me!

My worst ever job was...
…door to door sales, 100% commission based. And, I quote: "No, thank you."

In my spare time you can find me...
…learning new skills and being creative. Be that artsy or writing, I love to get a little world crafty.

Prior to TLTP, Gabi was in the British Army where she completed her full Basic training.

...enduring 4am start starts at Sainsbury's 6 days a week.
