Darryl is a true entrepreneur having started London Teaching Pool Ltd in 2006 and is still the owner and Managing Director today. He has a passion for Education and a desire to help make a difference in the industry. Prior to TLTP, Darryl worked for Amstrad Plc for 10 years, holding various Management positions and under the guidance of a commercially savvy figure as Lord Sugar, it gave him the confidence to begin his own ventures.
He is proud of his business and team which continues to flourish and, in a recent DfE audit, TLTP achieved 100% to retain its coveted REC Audited Award, the gold standard in safeguarding.
Darryl is probably the biggest West Ham United fan, he never misses a match and has a room full of memorabilia. Equally, family and friends are very important to him, he always makes time for everyone and is known for spoiling them.
Scott has over 10 years experience in Education Recruitment and is one of the Director's at London Teaching Pool. He has built his team up from the ground, employing only the best and talented Recruitment Consultants and training them to reach their full potential. His passion and dedication gives him a unique edge in building long term relationships and a strong network of clients.
Scott has an interest in fashion and run's his own online business buying and selling clothes. Most of his family live in Florida so he spends most of his holidays out there.
Lisa is the one of the Director's at London Teaching Pool and has a wealth of recruitment knowledge and experience having worked in the industry for over 20 years. Her passion and dedication for the drove her to develop the team from the ground up.
Having started her career at the Bank of England and then working for Insurance companies, Lisa has always thrived in a fast paced and busy environment. Her direction and vision has enabled the company to grow and double in size.
Outside of the office Lisa enjoys travelling, spending time with her family and has also been known to be a shopaholic!
Paul has a wealth of experience in the accountancy field. As the Finance Director of London Teaching Pool he is responsible for the day to day running of the Finance team and to assist fellow Directors with all aspects of running the business.
He was previously an Office Manager of an accountancy firm which he helped to build from scratch.
In his spare time Paul enjoys gardening, playing pool and spending time with family and friends.
Annette has been with London Teaching Pool since the company fist started in 2006, all thanks to being the wife of the boss. However she is boss when it comes to making sure TLTP are paid on time and chasing outstanding debts.
Annette's also a qualified beauty therapist and a mum to 3 children who all love to be pampered be her.
For the last 4 years Karl has managed the Compliance department. He plays an instrumental part in ensuring London Teaching Pool are compliant and up to date in all activities.
Prior to joining TLTP, Karl served in the army and then as a security guard. He has an obsession with the Hulk and has a collection of them proudly displayed across his desk.
Lara joined London Teaching Pool as the SEN Team Leader in September 2014 and works with specialist SEN schools recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants and support staff. She is an expert in her field, over 6 years of experience in SEN recruitment including becoming a qualified TEFL teacher and working in schools in Thailand; she has first-hand industry experience and knowledge.
Lara is multi-talented and enjoys trying out different things. Prior to recruitment she's worked as a lifeguard, performed in the West End and has even appeared on TV shows.
Stephen joined TLTP at the start of 2017 as our Senior Recruitment Consultant for the Primary Education team. He brings with him 3 years of recruitment experience and knowledge, a valuable asset which has allowed him to build healthy relationships with schools and teachers.
Stephen has a degree in Biological Science but always had a passion for resourcing and employment. After a successful stint within a B2C direct marketing company he was quickly offered a role in recruitment and has never looked back since.
Phoebe previously worked in fashion at a high end store in Chelsea before giving Recruitment a go, since then she's never looked back. She joined London Teaching Pool in September 2014 to source staff for Primary schools and gets a real buzz in doing so. She's hardworking, dedicated and always goes that extra mile ensuring both client and candidate needs are met.
She still loves fashion and is known to go some very large shopping sprees!
Abi joined the Primary department in August 2017 and in just a short time she has made a huge impact. She is highly driven and very competitive, it’s no wonder she has already been our Player of the Month.
Before joining TLTP Abi was a Salon Manager for several years and prior to that worked as a telesales operator for a Children’s charity. Sales is what drives Abi, she loves working in a buzzy office where it’s noisy, fun and target driven. We are glad she has chosen a career with us in Education recruitment.

My worst ever job was...
...working in the Summer for a catering company for events. Very early starts and late finishes. However on the plus side I did learn to make some great food!
...going to festivals as much as I can, I love being outdoors! I also enjoy going on shopping sprees and spending time with family and friends.
Shian is a great asset to the Education team as the Primary Resourcer. She joined London Teaching Pool in August 2016 and very quickly settled into her role.
She has great people skills and having previously worked at Queens Hospital as a Cancer Co-Coordinator and a Beauty Advisor for Benefit cosmetics she is a natural with the public.
Before joining the world of recruitment, Harvey worked for his family business helping with all aspects of it. After deciding to work in a target driven environment, he joined TLTP Education in 2017 as a trainee consultant and within his first 3 months he has already won our ‘Team Player of the Month’ award.
Harvey continues to make an impact, he is extremely hardworking and dedicated to supporting his schools and teachers. He is a great asset to TLTP and we are glad he made the choice to work in recruitment.
Megan has a passion for recruitment and enjoys working in a buzzy sales environment.
Prior to joining TLTP she started off working within Compliance for a security recruitment company. Soon, her natural people skills and ability to build effective working relationships shone through and she took the leap to become a trainee consultant. Since then she has successfully developed into a successful Recruitment Consultant and enjoys the daily challenges the role brings. Only when she achieves her goal of finding candidates their ideal role and meeting the needs of the schools does she feel satisfied.
After working 7 years as a Youth Worker with challenging young people Daniel fancied a change where he could continue to use his existing skills and deliver them in a positive way. He decided to give recruitment a try and with his experience and knowledge he was the perfect fit to join our SEN team.
Daniel is extremely driven, keen to make a difference and highly motivated. He’s already made a difference to the clients and candidates he has been working with. His bubbly personality and friendly nature always shines through no matter how tough his day gets. He loves to win and to be the best, he is inquisitive and will keep asking questions until he gets to where he wants to be.
Rob started off as an apprentice at London Teaching Pool before successfully moving into a Compliance Officer role. He has been a great asset to the team bringing invaluable knowledge from his time as a Learning Mentor. He has full understanding of the importance of ensuring all candidates who work with TLTP are fully compliant.
Karan is one of the Compliance Officers at London Teaching Pool who ensures all candidates are fully compliant and able to work. Outside of work she enjoys sports and travelling, she was lucky enough to have worked at the 2012 London Olympics.
As London Teaching Pool continued to grow, our Finance department needed an extra pair of hands to cope with the demand. Shani joined the team in Summer 2016 and is our youngest employee.
