The Recruitment Process

The London Teaching pool carries out stringent identity, CRB, qualification and reference checks, we also insist on a face-to face interviews so that we can match the skills, experience, personality and aspirations of candidates to the requirements of the schools. A summary of the vetting process which all candidates, regardless of the role, go through is as follows:

• A face-to face professional interview with an education specialist
• Confirmation of qualifications
• Professional references are obtained
• Medical history form is completed
• Criminal Records Bureau check
• List 99 check
• Photo ID Cards

Supply help when you need it – 24 hrs a day

Inevitably, requirements for short or long term supply cover arise in every school. The London Teaching Pool exists to meet those needs quickly and efficiently. Your supply requirements will be rigorously matched with the teachers and support staffs that are registered with us so you can be confident that the supply help we provide will meet your needs and make a positive contribution to learning in your school. To make life simpler for you, as well as carrying out vital checks and assessments, we will make sure that all professionals we provide receive a briefing on your school and their supply role before they arrive. We also take responsibility for payroll including statutory deductions and all employment-related costs, so reducing the administrative burden on your school. The London Teaching Pool offer a 24 hr service.
