SEN Teacher – Specialist ASD School in Ealing

TLTP Education is delighted to be recruiting an experienced and passionate SEN Teacher to join a highly regarded specialist ASD school in Ealing. The school caters to students aged 4–19 with a range of complex needs, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and/or additional communication needs.

About the Role

As an SEN Teacher, you will deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that inspire pupils to achieve their best in a supportive and structured environment. Working alongside therapists, teaching assistants, and senior leaders, the SEN Teacher will play a key role in promoting communication, independence, and life skills.

The successful SEN Teacher will:

  • Create and deliver individualised learning programmes tailored to each student’s EHCP

  • Use a range of creative teaching methods to support pupils with ASD and complex needs

  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic development

  • Build strong relationships with parents and carers, fostering a community approach to progress

Required Skills & Experience

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS)

  • Previous experience as an SEN Teacher within an SEN or ASD setting

  • A strong understanding of autism and communication-focused teaching strategies

  • Excellent behaviour management and de-escalation techniques

  • Commitment to professional development as an SEN Teacher

  • A compassionate, flexible, and resilient approach to teaching
