You will be required to plan and deliver engaging lessons that encourage expression and challenge students of all abilities. Any successful candidate should be willing to get involved in wider school activities, including school productions. The role has a strong emphasis on Dance and Performing Arts.
To be considered for this post, you must have outstanding classroom teaching and a commitment to teaching students of all abilities, along with energy, enthusiasm and a keen sense of humour.
Experience and qualifications required:
Hold a full teaching qualification of PGCE standard
Be an excellent classroom practitioner
Have a good understanding of curriculum developments in Performing Arts at KS3 & KS4
Be creative in problem solving together with a willingness to take on and try new ideas
Have the ability to relate to students in a pleasant and sympathetic manner
Be willing to participate in extra-curricular activities and whole school activities
