Job Description


  • An exciting opportunity has become available for a Reception Teacher to take on a Maternity Cover role and to join the supportive, friendly team of staff at a Primary School in the LEA of Kent in Orpington. They are looking for someone to join their hard working Early Years Team.

    This Primary School is committed to raising standards for all of their children and has high expectations of both behaviour and achievement across the curriculum, within a caring environment.

    The successful candidate will:

  •   Be passionate about improving and enhancing the lives of the children they teach through indoor and outdoor learning
  •   Have excellent teaching skills and subject knowledge
  •   Understand the importance of developing positive relationships with parents 
  •   Enjoy being part of a hardworking, creative and supportive team
  •   Have high levels of energy and enthusiasm
  •   Demonstrate proven success and an understanding of raising attainment and progress for all pupils
