Experience and qualified Year 6 Teacher and Art Lead   

Location: Southwark  

What we are looking for

One of our main clients in Southwark, SE London is now looking for experienced and qualified primary teachers to teach one of their two year 6 classes.

The school can wait for the right person.

You will need to be someone who:

-Has a proven track record of very good teaching in either year 5 or year 6 in diverse and creative classrooms in the UK
- Knows what is expected of children in end KS2 assessments
-Can support year 6 children in preparing for successful transition to secondary school
-Loves working with mature, independent, creative and very capable 10 and 11 year olds

The current post holder, who is also the lead for creative and expressive arts, is now moving out of London and so we find ourselves with this unexpected vacancy for next term. To tempt you here we can offer a strong team, lovely children, a very competent and knowledgeable full time TA, extra PPA each week, support from other teachers with planning  and additional payments (such as a TLR) if you also want to be involved in leadership of an area of the curriculum or school.
