Learning Support Assistant

KS2 Learning Support Assistant needed- Harrow KS2 Learning Support Assistant - The school This inclusive primary school in the London Borough of Harrow are currently seeking to employ a Teaching Assistant to support SEN pupils within KS2. KS2 Learning Support Assistant - Your new role You will support pupils within KS2 with Global Learning Delay, ASD and challenging behaviour. You will follow their Individual Education Plans, as set out by the SENCO, ensuring that they meet their targets. You will also be working very closely with the SENCO to ensure that realistic targets are set for the pupil.

You will need to use visual aids with the pupil to facilitate communication and ensure that they understand tasks. You will keep track and write monthly reports on the pupil, to ensure their continued academic development. Requirements for this role: You must have previous experience supporting pupils with SEN, ideally those with Global Learning Delay and ASD. You will ideally have specific SEN Training that you will be able to harness within this role. You must be reliable and flexible in your approach as a Learning Support Assistant. You must have a passion for working with children with special educational needs and show dedication within this role.
