A rare opportunity has arisen in St Albans for an outstanding Resistant Materials Teacher to join an "Outstanding" specialist school for deaf children.
In addition to being a qualified Teacher, an additional qualification in teaching hearing-impaired students is essential for this role. Additional qualification or teaching experience is desirable. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work with children aged 3 to 16 teaching their specialist subject.
TLTP are looking for outstanding teachers of the deaf who:
-Are committed to ensuring every hearing impaired child reaches their full potential -Are creative and innovative in their teaching -Are resilient and able to demonstrate a positive caring attitude -Are able to effectively lead a team -Are highly organised and able to plan, model and deliver outstanding teaching -Are committed to working in partnership with families and other professionals to achieve the best outcomes for pupils -Have expertise in audiological management of pupil's amplification. -Have substantial experience in organising and delivering events and training for families and professionals -Embrace change and innovation positively
As well as holding a QTS, you must also be at least BSL Level 2 qualified.
