A 'Good' maintained special school for primary aged children with social, emotional and mental health difficulties (SEMH) is seeking a Primary Teacher to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis!
One of my Key Clients currently recruiting for a SEMH primary teacher to join a specialist school that continues to be rated good by OFSTED. As a result of good teaching and robust assessment systems pupils currently in the early years are making good progress from their low starting points.
The primary teacher role will include:
Preparing and delivering lessons to primary students
Using a range of different learning resources and equipment
Teacher who can work with SEN students, mainly SEMH
Managing pupil behaviour in the classroom and on school premises
Communicating with parents and carers over pupils' progress
The successful candidate must have:
Qualified Teacher Status / QTLS
Eligible to work in the UK
Positive and energetic manner
Enthusiastic about working with children
Full understanding of the primary curriculum
This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
