A supportive and vibrant primary school located in Hertfordshire are looking for motivated teaching assistants to work with pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 on a long term basis.

TLTP are working hard to ensure the best SEN Teaching Assistant is recruited to work in this Primary school located in Hertfordshire
The position is for two SEN TA's with which has the potential to work across the entire primary phases.
The selected candidates will be employed full time on a long terms supply basis as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant with a permanent position available for the New Year.
What would this role include?
As a SEN TA you will be working closely with ASD pupils who experience difficulties in the classroom and encouraging them to engage in the curriculum.
Supporting the SEN department with the day to day running of schedules and general duties is also required.
Working closely with the SENCO to create a secure day to day plan for the children to progress
You will also be comfortable working in one-to-one and in group settings with children with several needs.
The ideal candidate should have experience working with children that have ADHD and Autism, as well as have experience in dealing with challenging behaviour. A can do attitude us also very important as is some knowledge of the Key Stage 1/2 curriculum.
