The school are keen to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated and committed Sociology teacher to join them in September on a full-time, permanent basis. You will be required to plan, prepare, and mark Sociology lessons across all key stages. The successful Sociology teacher will be able to demonstrate excellent subject knowledge, good interaction, and engagement with students with the support of their friendly social sciences department and ECT mentors. You must hold a Sociology related degree, relevant teaching qualification and a clear DBS that is registered to the update service.

This is a mixed, 11-16 secondary school with approximately 850 students, it's located in Hornchurch, Essex with onsite parking available and is situated minutes away from a train station with access to buses.
