Food Technology Teacher (ECT)
We are seeking a creative and committed Early Career Teacher of Food Technology to join our thriving Design & Technology department. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher to begin their career in a supportive and well-resourced school.
Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging Food Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

Develop students' practical and theoretical understanding of food, nutrition, and health

Use assessment to monitor progress and inform future planning

Contribute to curriculum development, departmental initiatives, and extra-curricular opportunities

Participate in the wider life of the school, including CPD, meetings, and events
Person Specification
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards it
-
A strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for teaching Food and Nutrition

Excellent practical and classroom management skills

A reflective practitioner eager to develop professionally

Ability to engage and inspire students of all abilities
