History Teacher – The Role
A well-regarded secondary school in Bexley is seeking a dedicated History Teacher to join their team on a permanent basis from January 2026 (or earlier, if available). This position is open to both full-time and part-time applicants and would suit either an experienced teacher or an ECT. You will be expected to teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of KS5 for suitable candidates.The department is currently developing a more diverse KS3 curriculum – knowledge of African Kingdoms or the Silk Roads would be a bonus. Experience with Edexcel GCSE and AQA A-Level is desirable, though not essential.
Salary: £37,868 – £56,154 (including Outer London Weighting), depending on experience and qualifications.
