An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and skilled English Teacher to join a supportive and inclusive secondary school in Edmonton, North London. The school is seeking a confident and inspiring practitioner who can deliver high-quality English teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4. Experience at Key Stage 5 is desirable but not essential.

The Role – English Teacher

As a key member of the English department, you will:

• Deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons that foster a love for reading, writing, and critical thinking

• Plan and teach effectively across KS3 and KS4 (with potential for KS5)

• Use assessment and feedback to support student progress and attainment

• Differentiate lessons to meet the diverse needs of students

• Contribute to the ongoing development of the English curriculum and literacy enrichment activities

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to promote a culture of high expectations and academic excellence

Requirements
