Deputy Manager – Outstanding Private Nursery (Ilford, Redbridge)
Salary: £29,000 per annum
Location: Ilford, Redbridge
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: 9am–6pm
Start Date: ASAPAn Outstanding Ofsted-rated private nursery in Ilford is seeking a passionate and experienced Deputy Manager to join their dedicated team. The nursery cares for children aged 6 months to 5 years, providing a warm, nurturing, and stimulating environment.
About the Role:
- Support the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day running of the setting
- Oversee staff and ensure the highest standards of care and education
- Maintain compliance with Ofsted and EYFS requirements
- Lead by example, supporting staff development and positive teamwork
Requirements:
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent)
- Proven experience in a nursery or early years leadership role
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding standards
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
