Music Teacher – Ilford

A secondary school in Ilford is seeking a dedicated Music Teacher for a permanent role starting ASAP or after notice. We are looking for a confident and motivated Music Teacher who can deliver high-quality lessons and support students up to KS5. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate Music Teacher looking to develop their career within a supportive and well-resourced department.

Role Details:

• Start date: ASAP (or negotiable)

• Contract: Permanent

• Salary: £30,000–£50,000 (depending on experience)

• Full-time position

• Teaching Music up to KS5

What the role involves:

• Delivering engaging and creative Music lessons

• Supporting students across KS3–KS5

• Contributing to curriculum development and enrichment activities

• Working collaboratively with the Performing Arts department

Requirements:

• QTS or relevant teaching qualification

• Experience teaching Music at secondary level (KS3–KS5 preferred)

• Strong communication and behaviour management skills
