Head of Religious Education – The Role

A secondary school in High Wycombe is seeking to appoint a passionate and driven Head of Religious Education to lead their department from September on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching RE across KS3, KS4 and KS5, while also leading curriculum development, departmental strategy, and raising achievement within the subject. You will oversee planning, assessment, and staff development within the department, ensuring students receive engaging and thought-provoking lessons that encourage critical thinking and respect for different beliefs and cultures.
