SEN Teaching Assistant - The Role
This school is looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with a range of additional needs including ASD, ADHD, and moderate learning difficulties. The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will work closely with the class teacher to support pupils both academically and socially.
You will be working on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, helping pupils to engage with learning, manage behaviour, and develop independence. The role may also involve supporting sensory needs and following structured routines tailored to individual EHCPs.
The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant will be patient, adaptable, and confident working in a specialist setting.
SEN Teaching Assistant - The School
This SEN school supports approximately 80–130 pupils aged 4–16 with autism and learning difficulties. The school provides a structured environment with strong support systems and is typically rated “Good” by Ofsted.
