Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Salary:M1 – M6 (Inner London Pay Scale, £40,317 – £52,300 per annum)We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a welcoming and inclusive primary school in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, for a passionate and nurturing Reception Class Teacher to join their team from September 2026 on a permanent basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who is dedicated to Early Years education, supporting children at the very start of their school journey and helping them develop confidence, independence, and a love of learning.
The role:
You will take responsibility for a Reception class, creating a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment where children can thrive. You will deliver a balance of structured teaching and play-based learning, supporting pupils’ development across all areas of the EYFS curriculum.The school is looking for someone who:
- Has a strong understanding of the EYFS framework
- Is confident delivering phonics, early language, and number development
- Creates a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment
- Has high expectations while supporting individual needs
- Works collaboratively with colleagues and support staff
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
