Student Welfare & Medical Support Officer – The Role
A secondary school in Croydon is seeking a proactive and reliable Student Welfare & Medical Support Officer to join them as soon as possible. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing first aid and medical assistance to students, supporting attendance tracking and follow-up, and assisting with wider pastoral and safeguarding processes.You will be a key point of contact for student welfare throughout the school day, helping to ensure pupils are safe, supported, and able to access learning. Strong communication skills, accuracy, confidentiality, and the ability to build positive relationships with both students and staff are essential. Experience working in a school environment is desirable, along with SIMS knowledge. A First Aid qualification is preferred, or a willingness to undertake training.
