Early Career Teacher (ECT) – KS2 Class Teacher
Location: Tower Hamlets
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Main Pay Scale (M1)Are you an enthusiastic and motivated Early Career Teacher (ECT) ready to begin your teaching career in a supportive and ambitious school?
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated ECT KS2 Class Teacher to join our welcoming school community in Tower Hamlets from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified teacher to develop their teaching practice, inspire pupils, and make a positive impact on children’s learning and progress.
As a KS2 Class Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons, support pupils’ academic and personal development, and create a positive classroom environment where every child is encouraged to succeed.
You will work alongside an experienced and supportive team, benefiting from a strong ECT induction programme, mentoring, and opportunities to develop your skills as a confident and effective classroom teacher.
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or is completing their teacher training
- Is an enthusiastic and reflective ECT with a passion for KS2 teaching
- Has a good understanding of the KS2 National Curriculum
- Is committed to delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
- Has high expectations for pupil achievement and behaviour
- Builds positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
- Is eager to learn, develop, and contribute to wider school life
