Description

TLTP are currently seeking a Functional Skills tutor to work with students in an Independent School for KS3 and KS4 aged students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs or Dyslexia based in Hammersmith.

You will be teaching groups of 6-8 students with SEMH difficulties in a formal but therapeutic environment.

As a Functional Skills Teacher, you will be teaching groups of students who are all working at a different level and require different approaches in order to learn.

This role would, therefore, suit a teacher who is confident in teaching at functional skills level and diversifying lesson plans.

The ideal candidate will be positive, very resilient, upbeat, enthusiastic, committed and flexible to teach students with special educational needs, including learning inside of the classroom and teaching life skills.

The candidate would be required to apply positive behaviour management approaches.
