A PRU in South East London is seeking a Religious Studies Teacher to join their team for the rest of the academic yer.

My client is looking to arrange interviews ASAP. However, the candidate will need to do a trial day before being asked to an interview. This position is a long term role that could go permanent. The school is easily accessible by public transport and has parking spaces that are available to all staff.

The Religious Studies teacher role will include:

Preparing and delivering lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 students

Using a range of different learning resources and equipment

Teacher who can work with SEN students

Managing pupil behaviour in the classroom and on school premises

Communicating with parents and carers over pupils' progress

The successful candidate must have:

Qualified Teacher Status / QTLS

Eligible to work in the UK

Positive and energetic manner

Enthusiastic about working with children

Full understanding of the Religious Studies curriculum

This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
