Biology Teacher

Biology Teacher required in Watford, Hertfordshire - ASAP Start

TLTP are currently working with an 'Outstanding' Secondary school based in Watford, Hertfordshire that is recruiting for a Biology Teacher to join them in ASAP on a temp to permanent basis.

You will be required to plan, deliver and mark all lessons on your timetable whilst also implementing the schools ethos.

As this schools new Science Teacher your duties will include but will not be limited to;

You will be required to teach the national curriculum across all key stages

You will ensure they are improving on their current grades

As the new Biology Teacher you will be communicating on a regular basis with parents and carers on their children's progress within your classes

You must document students' progress within the Science department throughout the academic year

You will be required to use a wide variety of learning resources to help improve your lessons and teaching

You will be required to undertake appropriate CPD training in line with school and departmental priorities

The successful General Science Teacher will have the following Qualifications/Experience;

You must have a Science related degree with a relevant teaching qualification ie. PGCE, QTS.

It will be beneficial if you have experience teaching up to KS5 in Biology

You must have strong behaviour management

As a teacher working with children you will need a recent Enhanced DBS check
