Description

TLTP are currently working with a 'Good' Secondary school based in Slough who are recruiting for a General Science Teacher to join them on a long term basis from February 2020.

The successful candidate will be teaching General Science to KS3, KS4 and KS5 students. You will be required to plan, deliver and mark all lessons on your timetable whilst also implementing the schools ethos.

As this schools new General Science Teacher your duties will include but will not be limited to;

You will be required to teach the national curriculum to KS3, KS4 and KS5 students and ensure they are improving on their current grades

As the new General Science Teacher you will be communicating on a regular basis with parents and carer's on their children's progress within your classes

You must document students' progress within the Science department throughout the academic year

You will be required to use a wide variety of learning resources to help improve your lessons and teaching

You will be required to undertake appropriate CPD training in line with school and departmental priorities

The successful General Science Teacher will have the following Qualifications/Experience;

You must have a Science related degree with a relevant teaching qualification ie. PGCE, QTS.

You must have strong behaviour management

As a teacher working with children you will need a recent Enhanced DBS check
