SEN Teaching Assistant Chessington Full Time May 2022 until July 2022
TLTP are currently working with a Chessington based SEN school for pupils aged 9 to 19, who are looking to recruit an SEN TA. This will be for the remainder of the academic year, at least, most likely being extended into the next academic year.

Are you able to engage children in the classroom as well as adding additional concentration and development of learning?
Can you build relationships with the pupils that support the children in the process of learning?
Do you have experience with children with SEN?

SEN Teaching Assistant:
The school is based in Chessington and provides education to student from the ages 9 -19 years. All their students have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). Many students have additional needs such as mild to moderate Autistic Spectrum Disorders, language impairment or emotional issues; a few have sensory or medical needs. The majority of students come from mainstream Primary Schools where they have been supported 1:1 by an adult, mostly on a full-time basis. This school hosts a positive and work driven environment that flows throughout the staffing team and students alike. This positive atmosphere offers children a more engaging and positive outlook on education, promoting learning of the highest standard.
The school is roughly a 10-minute walk from the nearest station, as well as offering on-site parking for drivers. The school are looking for an experienced, adaptive, and positive teaching assistant that can assist and communicate in the learning of students, as well as bonding with children to create healthy relationships to assist children in the process of learning.
