Occupational Therapist - The Role
TLTP require an Occupational Therapist Specialist to work as part of a dynamic multi-disciplinary team (including SALTs, ASD leads, Canine and Music Therapists) to support learners in accessing all aspects of the curriculum, as well as liaising with parents/carers and other external professionals and agencies. You will work closely with teaching staff, helping to integrate therapy and learning objectives, as well as instructing and supporting teaching staff in delivering therapy programmes and use of specialised equipment. You will also deliver training to other staff.
Occupational Therapist - The School
This is an outstanding specialist school for autistic children and young people aged 4 ½ to 22 years old. They have over 50 years experience in providing a holistic and personalised education within a caring and safe environment. Their creative approach and performing arts specialism helps every autistic child to learn and develop. All their students have autism and associated social communication, cognitive, sensory, social, emotional, and behavioural needs. They come under the broad description of 'Severe Learning Difficulties' (SLD)
