Design & Technology Teacher (ECT) – Havering
Location: Havering, East London
Salary: MPS (Outer London) – £36,413 to £38,318 per annum
Start Date: September 2026 (or sooner)
Contract: Full-time, PermanentA welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Havering is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Early Career Teacher (ECT) of Design & Technology to join their successful department. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified teacher looking to begin their teaching career in a supportive and well-structured environment.
The successful candidate will teach Design & Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging lessons that develop students’ creativity, problem-solving skills, and practical understanding of design and manufacturing processes. Experience or the ability to teach Food Technology would be highly desirable.
ECTs are strongly encouraged to apply, and the school offers a comprehensive ECT induction programme, including mentoring, structured training, and ongoing professional development.
