Primary School – London Borough of Redbridge (LEA)Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: M1 (Inner London Pay Scale, £40,317 per annum)We are currently working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in the London Borough of Redbridge to recruit a committed and enthusiastic Early Career Teacher (ECT) – Key Stage 2 for a September 2026 start on a permanent basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified teacher to begin their career within a supportive setting, where you will help pupils build on prior learning, grow in confidence, and develop the skills needed for a successful transition to secondary education.
The role:
You will take responsibility for a Key Stage 2 class, delivering creative, engaging, and well-sequenced lessons that promote strong academic progress and personal development. You will be supported by experienced colleagues and benefit from a structured ECT induction programme.The school is looking for someone who:
Has (or is on track to achieve) QTS
Has a secure understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum
Is confident delivering English, mathematics, and foundation subjects
Encourages independence, resilience, and a love of learning
Creates a calm, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
Maintains high expectations for all pupils
Is reflective, motivated, and eager to develop professionally
