Primary School – London Borough of Havering (LEA)Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: M1 (Outer London Pay Scale, £34,514 per annum)We are currently working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in the London Borough of Havering to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Career Teacher (ECT) – Key Stage 2 for a September 2026 start on a permanent basis.
This is a brilliant opportunity for a newly qualified teacher to begin their career within a supportive and well-structured environment, helping pupils build confidence, strengthen core skills, and achieve their full potential.
The role:
You will take responsibility for a Key Stage 2 class, delivering engaging and well-planned lessons that promote strong academic progress and positive personal development. You will work closely with experienced colleagues and receive full support through a structured ECT induction programme.The school is looking for someone who:
Has (or is on track to achieve) QTS
Has a secure understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum
Is confident delivering English, mathematics, and foundation subjects
Encourages independence, resilience, and curiosity in learners
Creates a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
Maintains high expectations for all pupils
Is reflective, motivated, and eager to develop professionally
