Qualified Primary Teacher / Tutor – The Role

We are looking for a compassionate and skilled tutor to deliver personalised 1:1 tuition to pupils across Early Years, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2. As a tutor, you will be working within the child’s home in Barking and Dagenham, with a family member present at all times.

Each tutor will support pupils who are currently out of mainstream education due to SEN, SEMH needs, exclusion, relocation or medical recovery. The successful tutor will be responsible for planning and delivering tailored sessions to meet individual learning needs. This tutor position offers flexible working hours, allowing each tutor to manage their own schedule effectively. Experience of Makaton would be beneficial for any tutor applying for this role.
