Salary:M1 – M6 (Outer London Pay Scale)We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a welcoming and well-regarded two-form entry primary school in the London Borough of Waltham Forest, for a committed and enthusiastic Year 4 Class Teacher to join their team from September 2026 on a permanent basis.
This is a great opportunity for a teacher who enjoys working in Lower Key Stage 2, supporting pupils as they develop confidence, independence, and strong core skills in preparation for Upper Key Stage 2.
The role:
You will take responsibility for a Year 4 class, planning and delivering engaging and well-structured lessons across the curriculum. Working in a two-form entry school, you will benefit from collaboration with your year group partner and a supportive staff team, creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils are supported and challenged to achieve their best.The school is looking for someone who:
- Has a strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum, particularly Lower KS2
- Delivers engaging lessons that support progress in reading, writing, and mathematics
- Maintains high expectations for behaviour and achievement
- Uses assessment effectively to support pupil development
- Works well as part of a team and contributes to the wider school community
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
