Salary: £160 – £250 per dayWe are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a welcoming and inclusive two-form entry primary school in the London Borough of Waltham Forest, for a dedicated and enthusiastic temporary Year 4 Class Teacher to join their team from Easter 2026 until the end of the academic year.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed teacher to work in Key Stage 2, supporting pupils as they continue their learning journey and consolidate key skills in literacy, numeracy, and wider curriculum subjects.
The role:
You will be responsible for a Year 4 class, delivering engaging and creative lessons that support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development. The successful candidate will create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment while maintaining high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
The school is looking for someone who:
- Has a strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum, particularly Year 4
- Is confident in delivering literacy, numeracy, and wider curriculum lessons
- Creates an engaging, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
- Works collaboratively as part of a team and contributes to the wider school community
- Has high expectations for all pupils and a commitment to raising attainment
